My first read of 2022 and boy what a doozy that was. K. Webster always knows how to suck you right into her stories. It didn’t take long for me to fall into a trance while reading this book. I was very skeptical of reading it, especially after reading the Skyscraper Cinderella. I truly, and I mean truly, HATED Scout, Sully and Sparrow. They were cruel, nasty and downright evil. But in this book?? I really liked them. These guys are villains, but somehow K. Webster just knows how to sneakily get you to like them. I’m not really sure where things might go with this story, there are so many different avenues that we could go down. I’d love to get book two right about now because that cliffhanger really left me on the edge of my seat!!
