First of all let me start this review off by saying, please do not read this book if you didn’t look at the trigger warning. This book is NOT for the faint of heart and even those with a love for dark romance will question why they are reading it. This book is up there with Pennies by Pepper Winters. It’s right under it for me.
Holy moly. What a fucked up read. When I started this book, I definitely thought it was going in another direction, but I was completely off. This book had me putting it down almost every chapter. I had to compose myself multiple times so I could digest what was going on. I was an emotional wreck the entire time while reading and it took me about three days to pick up another book after reading this one.
If you are looking for something REALLY dark, with questionable content, but want to push the limit for yourself, I suggest you strap yourself in and get reading. If not, do not read this book. It will not be for you. READ that trigger warning.

H. D. Carlton grew up in a small town in Ohio. She suffers by the hands of Mother Nature cursing the area with all four seasons in the span of a week. By day, she does boring adult stuff, by night, she’s putting her imagination into words as her cat climbs all over her. She published a few poems back in her days, but now she is devoted to turning poetry into stories. Stories that feature wicked worlds and the worst kind of villains that don’t talk about themselves in third person.
