Three hearts. One consuming fire.
Julian Kade hates everyone. But when a power outage traps him in a Paris elevator with sharp-tongued chef Freya Kapoor and charming street fighter Archer Wilde, an unexpected spark ignites between them. By the end of the twelve hours that follow, they’ve shared their darkest desires…and formed a bond none of them could have expected.
Freya Kapoor has dreams, and getting sidetracked by two billionaires wasn’t part of her careful plan. But when the two men who’ve begun to dominate her body and mind present Freya with a chance to open the restaurant of her dreams, boundaries quickly blur…and her orderly world gets increasingly complicated.
Archer Wilde never thought he’d stop fighting long enough to get tangled up with two such different people. Yet the three of them fit together like nothing before, unlocking hidden desires they never knew they craved. But beneath the perfect facade are three individuals battling demons of their own. Ultimately, as passion deepens into something far more dangerous, Freya, Julian, and Archer will have to choose whether they’re willing to risk everything they’ve built for a love as fierce as it is free

my review:
I received this ALC in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I wanted to love this book. I really did. I was so excited for it after I read book one in this series. When I started it I was excited and I loved their meet-cute in the elevator. Things started out so strong and I liked Julian, Freya, and Archer but after that.. It honestly just fell flat for me. I feel like this book would have been so much better as an MM book. To me it just felt like Freya didn’t fit into the dynamic. She felt so out of place and like she was being left out or just wasn’t as active in the relationship as the other two. Maybe that’s just me? I really don’t know. I love MMF books, they’re one of my favorites and this author has always done such a great job with them but.. This one did not hit the mark for me. The audio for this book however was fantastic. I will forever say that duet narration is superior to all other types and this book just proves it. It really made the experience better.
Overall, this book was good, but not what I was hoping for.
about the author:
Let’s skip the boring About the Author bit where I tell you how I’m a USA Today bestselling author who lives in Arizona with her kids, husband, and dog and enjoys baking in my free time. Boring.
Instead, I’d like you to know I strive to be a taboo and forbidden romance author who dares to tell stories with heart-wrenching plot and toe-curling heat.
My passion in life is to normalize a reading experience that pushes boundaries and empowers women to own their sexuality. Things that trigger my soapbox rants are discrediting the romance industry or belittling its readers by calling it “trash.” You’ve been warned. I could quite literally go on for days.
I like to take risks and write from the heart. And I want nothing more than to be an author readers trust to deliver books that are steamy AF but with a strong storyline and well-rounded characters.
What is The Sara Cate Experience?
The Sara Cate Experience means being pulled into a story and escaping reality a little bit for romances that are as emotional as they are arousing. The feelings are strong and the steam is scorching. There is never one without the other because when sex and love come together, it’s fireworks.
