Audiobook Review | God of Fury

From USA Today best-selling author Rina Kent comes a new stand-alone MM college romance.

I’m not attracted to men. Or so I thought before I slammed into Nikolai Sokolov.

A mafia heir, a notorious bastard, and a violent monster.

An ill-fated meeting puts me in his path.

And just like that, he has his sights set on me.

A quiet artist, a golden boy, and his enemy’s twin brother.

He doesn’t seem to care that the odds are stacked against us.

In fact, he sets out to break my steel-like control and blur my limits.

I thought my biggest worry was being noticed by Nikolai.

I’m learning the hard way that being wanted by this beautiful nightmare is much worse.

God of Fury contains sensitive subjects that can be upsetting to some listeners. Please read the sample of the eBook for the full list of disclaimers. This book can be listened to on its own, but for a better understanding of the world, you might want to start with God of Malice.

My oh my. What an emotional read.

So far, though we have one more to go, this has been my favorite book in this series. Hands down. I laughed and cried and was giddy, and read this book so slow to savor every single second of it. And it was so very worth it. I don’t think I’ve felt this way about a book in such a long time. I think this book will live in my head rent-free for quite some time and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to get over this book.

Nikolai and Bran’s relationship is hot and fiery from the very beginning. Everything that these two went through together throughout this entire book was not only touching to read, but it was so lovely to see them grow not only as a couple, who are very adorable, but also as individuals. In no way, shape, or form did I ever imagine the plot would be what we were given. My jaw was like literally on the floor. And boy did it break my heart.

The audio for this book was phenomenal. Every single narrator for this book did one hell of a job. They honestly made me feel this book deep in my soul. Not only was the story fantastic and so well written but the way that the narrators portrayed Nikolai and Bran just really did it for me.

This is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year. If you’re looking for something dark, unbelievably gut wrenching, hot, is an MM romance, with top-notch plot and character development the this is a book for you. Honestly, I don’t know what you’ve been doing if you haven’t read this series yet.

Rating: 5 out of 5.
About the Author:

Rina Kent is a USA Today, international, and #1 Amazon bestselling author of everything enemies to lovers romance.

She’s known to write unapologetic anti-heroes and villains because she often fell in love with men no one roots for. Her books are sprinkled with a touch of darkness, a pinch of angst, and an unhealthy dose of intensity.

She spends her private days in London laughing like an evil mastermind about adding mayhem to her expanding universe. When she’s not writing, Rina travels, hikes, and spoils cats in a pure Cat Lady fashion.
