Book Review | Melt Away

Melt Away by Arabella Black

You belong to us now, pretty girl.

August Scott stole me.
To protect me, he claims.
But it’s a lie.
Without any remorse, he took away my innocence.
He claimed me as his pet.

And then he shared me with his family.

I’m theirs to use.
A prey they hunger for.
When there’s nowhere left to run, their sinful secrets come to light.

Something wicked tore these men apart.

It’s up to me to reconcile them.
Because now they crave me.
And they refuse to let me go.

A complete reverse harem standalone. Dark and taboo elements guaranteed. This is not a safe love story. Not for the faint of heart.

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another great read from this author!

I was very invested from the beginning with this story and all of the main characters. Mae, Isaac, Alfie, Lake and August are a big broken mess! And I really love them all, except August! I was waiting for him to end up on his knees begging for Mae’s forgiveness. He was such an a-hole I didn’t know how I would survive this book. However, Isaac, Alfie, and Lake made up for his meanness! Which I didn’t think was possible. I will say, I was slightly disappointed about two things. The first, being there was no RH group scenes. I was really looking forward to them all, no pun intended, coming together! I was expecting at least one, we only get teased and left hanging at the end. My second issue is I am a little sad the way it ended, it felt quite abrupt. I would love to see a second book or maybe even a series? These characters are too go to let go and I think there’s so much more to be told about them all. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Arabella NEVER lets me down!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Edit: I did just finish the bonus scene and I HIGHLY recommend reading it! Also can I say again that now after reading that I really would like a second book!!!

About the Author:

Arabella Black used to be a Directioner (still is COUGH COUGH), hiding behind a strange name on Wattpad. Two years and lots of forbidden stories later, Wattpad banned her, and she took a break from writing. She then focused on musicals where she played the lead dead girl. She also moved to Sheffield, UK, to trace her favorite band’s origins (“We’re the Arctic Monkeys from High Green, Sheffield!”). After spending most of her life being a faux vampire novelist, a Spanish model fanfic writer, and a smutstress, Arabella returned to the world of books in 2020. Bookblogging is her safe haven. She’s back to writing books, but this time around, she’s all about WAPs & the hot boys that earn them.
