Force of Nature by Skye Warren & Amelia Wilde is now live!
Carter Morelli survived a dark childhood and dangerous missions. But when he emergency lands a small aircraft on the ocean, he faces something worse: having someone depend on him. He has to keep innocent June Porter safe on the deserted island.
Except they aren’t alone here…
A man hides among the broad leaves. He’s almost feral.
There are secrets in his cabin. Desire, too.
Carter doesn’t want to care about beautiful June. He doesn’t want to care about the mysterious and sensual man who’s almost part of the wilderness.
Scorching chemistry draws all three of them deeper.
They already survived the plane crash, but will they survive the fall?

I received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
What a nice change in pace. Let me start off by saying that I’m loving the Midnight Dynasty world, especially the Morelli Family. Carter may just be a front runner as my favorite Morelli, him and Leo are my top two. I really enjoyed this book, so much. I believe, now I could be wrong, that this is the first book I read where our main characters are stranded on an unknown island. But since I love a good forced proximity story, I was all in for this one. This had a completely different vibe and it fit so well with this story. I loved learning about June, Carter and our mystery man, our main characters. They are unique and their backstories really show us why they are the way they are. The beginning half of this book didn’t move too fast, and had a great pace, but the closer we got to the end, it felt like things really revved up and felt quite rushed for no reason. The one and only reason that I’m rating this book 4.5 stars is simply because this book ends on a cliffhanger and nowhere in the description does it say anything about a cliffhanger. I don’t mind cliffhangers, at all, however, I like to know about them going in. I mean, I should know by now, this is the Midnight Dynasty world and 90% of their books are series. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. June, Carter and our mystery man are unlike any other characters I’ve encountered before and I can’t wait to see where the story takes us!
