Well, well, well. Another fantastic and favorite read of 2022! I was by no means expecting to love this book as much as I do. As most of you know, I am incredibly picky when it comes to reading and third person. Typically, I hate it. I don’t usually connect that well to the characters that are in the book if they’re written in third person. However, there are a few specific authors that can write in third person and it doesn’t phase me one bit. Lydia Michaels is now on that list of authors.. I was absolutely astounded from chapter 1 how much I really enjoyed this book. First of all, this book is only narrated by Lance West. Typically with romance books that are either first person point of view or in third person point of you it’s usually narrated by a female so listening to this audiobook immediately felt different but in a really good way. I surprisingly really enjoyed Lance West voicing all three main characters. It just fits so well with this book. Liberty, Mason, and Sean have such a wonderful dynamic. These three are really special. I think everything about this book was absolutely amazing. Writing, story, each and every character and their backstory. There is so much thought and detail put into this book, I certainly appreciated it. Liberty Mason and Sean have such fantastic chemistry. It was so steamy and undeniably hot. This is my first time ever reading a book from this author and it will definitely not be my last! This book will definitely be on my list of favorite reads of 2022 and is also a book I’m gonna have to add to my collection.
