Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is: Comfort Reads
I don’t have too many comfort reads but the ones listed here really hold a special place in my heart.
- After by Anna Todd: More like this entire series. I have read this book more times than any other book I’ve read. It’s just one of those series that gets me out of reading slumps.
- All He’ll Ever Be by W. Winters: This is the entire Merciless series in one book, which is convenient for me since this is another series I could read a million times and never get sick of.
- Welcome to the Dark Side by Giana Darling: Like the book above I could read this book a million times and never get sick of it. And now that it’s on audio, it makes me even happier.
- Crank by Ellen Hopkins: I read this book in high school and it was genuinely the first book I ever read in one sitting. This is my second most read book and when I need to go on an emotional journey, this is the book I pick up.
- Frigid by J. Lynn: This book lives rent free in my brain and it often comes to me when I need a palate cleanser.
- The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks: I, kind of, hate that I’m even putting this book on this list since I don’t like this author anymore. However, this is a book I always turn to when I need a REALLY good cry.

It was great! It’s one of those I wish I could go back a read again for the first time.
