Wow. How intense.
I’m genuinely trying to put together my words for this book but I just can’t seem to do that. This book picks up right where book one left off and got right into the nitty-gritty. We learn much more about Kas’s past and how he continually struggles with trying to move forward and get a grip on his mental state. There’s so much to this book that I’d love to say but I can’t because I feel like I would give something away. My biggest recommendation would be the same as I did for book one, just dive right in. I feel like nothing that anyone says could prepare you for the dark, anxious, heart pounding journey that this author takes you on. I was fortunate enough to be able to listen to the audiobook and I think that Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did such a fantastic job with these characters. I can’t imagine anyone else bringing these two characters to life. Great job! I cannot wait to read book 3 and see how everything wraps up. Because that cliffhanger really got to me. This series is an absolute must read if you love dark romance!
