I am seriously impressed with Vanessa Luisa. This was a great debut novel and I can’t wait to read more by her. From the second I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. This story was absolutely heart wrenching and emotional. I mean from the first few chapters I knew I was in for it. Our main characters, Giulio and Valencia, had me from the beginning. I knew right away that I was going to love them. The relationship, connection and passion they have for one another is so strong from the get go. I was constantly rooting for them every chance I got. The start of the book was definitely a little slow for me and could have been tweaked a little bit more, but overall I loved this book. I love reading new authors and can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeves.
