The Devil comes with baggage, and not the kind you can lose. I was two years old when he saved me. I didn’t understand much at that age, but I remember the pale boy with hair as dark as ink, saving me from two evils. He said he would protect me; I just didn’t know he meant from himself. I was raised in the arms of evil, tailored for the Devil like a custom Armani suit, and every day he wore it like a weapon. Brantley thought by keeping me locked in his manor that it would protect me, and it did.

Until it didn’t.

As I slowly adapt to The Elite Kings Club and the dark, sinister world that exists around the outlaws in suits, I come to learn that the monster everyone fears is the very same one I crave.

Like a prized trophy, I sit on his throne…

Something quite pretty, an object he owns…

She’s a porcelain doll, so shiny, so clean…

Something I want to polish, but to never be seen…

The time has come, I am in his world…

Now his Dea, can be admired by all…

The thing with porcelain is it’s fragile and delicate…

It would only take a second for me to eradicate it…

I love this book. I really wanted to take my time reading this book because I know for a fact that I would want to read it in one sitting which I absolutely could have. But I really wanted to take my time and digest everything that I was reading after every chapter. And I’m so glad I did that. It may have taken me a few days to actually read it but it was well worth it. I purposefully took my time reading this book, since I knew it would kill me.

Brantley and Saint are such a unique couple. These two. I didn’t realize how much I wanted to hear Brantley’s story until I started reading this book. I’ve always been interested in him since the second I picked up The Silver Swan. I’ve wanted to learn all the nitty-gritty details about him and especially about the girl he’s kept hidden away forever. I always thought that Bishop and Madison were my favorite couple although I really love every single character in this entire Series. But Brantley and Saint really just kick it up 5 million notches for me. There, if I can say love, for one another is explosive and fatal. But oh so beautiful. The heat and the steam is undeniable. Honestly, Brantley is everything I’ve ever asked for and everything you’ve ever wanted. Hands down his character is so broken and I loved getting a deeper look into what makes him, him. Saint is hands down my favorite girl in the EKC world. She is quiet, sweet and demure, but also not at the same time. She is unpredictable and such an easy character to fall in love with.

I love how every single book in the series is interwoven into each other. If you’re gonna read this book you need to read the books prior to the series. If you go in just reading this book you’re going to be very very confused. When I was reading this book I felt absolutely hypnotized. Unlike any other book I’ve read, the second I started reading I felt like I was in a trance. This book is so freaking good. I mean earth shattering, mind boggling, full body chills kind of good. If you’re looking for something that’s dark, will keep you on your toes, leave you absolutely breathless and suck your soul out this is a great read for you. In all seriousness, I love this book. I love this book so much. I need part two immediately and I cannot wait to add this book to my bookshelf as well as add this to one of my favorite reads of 2021 so far.

It’s dark, twisted and a must read for anyone who loves Amo Jones or dark romance.

This book is literally off the charts for me. Hands-down six star read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

About the Author:

Amo Jones is a USA Today & Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, totally winging this author thing (she’s probably doing it all wrong). She likes cake, loves wine, and her religion is magic (Slytherin). She’s a profound work-a-holic, but when she’s not writing, you can find her chilling with her kids & Husband at the nearest beach, with a cocktail in her hand.

New Zealand is not a state of Australia and rugby is the best sport ever played.

  1. I used to read Amo Jones so much back in the days, but honestly I just never could like her books the way every one else did, and then tragically I let her go because she was never going to be my author😢 Fantastic review tho babe! I’m glad you enjoyed this book (⌒▽⌒)☆
