Sometimes I forget I really enjoy contemporary romance. Especially books like this. This book was such a good and wholesome romance read that I really needed right now. When I was asked to read and review this book, I was very skeptical and honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to like it at all. But after getting a few chapters in, I really started to love it. Farrah and Blake are an interesting couple and not two people you would expect to be together. But their relationship is so real and raw. You can really identify with Farrah and Blake and I felt like I really knew them by the middle of the book. Along with Farrah and Blake, all of the side characters were fun and interesting to learn about, since they make the story even better. The setting of this book is in Shanghai. Both are on a study abroad opportunity with their respective colleges, as well as a few other spots they visit for fun. The descriptions that are used for this book really helps me paint a very vivid and beautiful picture of what it would look like. The world and character building were fantastic. Everything was well thought out and kept me turning the pages. If you are looking for a lovely, easy, and sweet read this book is definitely something you should pick up.
