Ryan’s Bed by Tijan

I have been dying to read something by Tijan and I am so happy that this was the one. And after reading this book in one sitting I was left with an open mouth and confused mind. This book was unbelievably heartbreaking and yet so beautiful. It was real and made me feel things that I was not expecting. We go through the coping process with both Mackenzie and Ryan. Two broken souls who need each other to grow, learn and heal. They are both incredibly strong and such a great pairing. I couldn’t imagine them with anyone else. THAT ENDING THOUGH!! I’m a little messed up and feel like I need to go back and re-evaluate what I just read. Overall this was a solid read. Beautiful, heartbreaking and emotional all in one.

We Own Tonight by Corrianne Michales:

I cannot tell you how much I loved this book! I was swept off my feet with this one.

Heather and Eli’s story is told so beautifully, I have been DYING for a good read like this. Filled with such a responsibility, Heather forgets how to live for herself. But once she meets her teenage heartthrob, Eli, her world changes for the better. I loved every second of this book and it most definitely made me wish this would happen to me as well. I swooned from the first page to the last. The love and the passion these too have for each other brought me to laugh, smile and even cry. This was such an easy and effortless read. These characters are lovable and relatable.

Irresistible Attraction by Willow Winters

Because I am NOT okay.

Okay, so I had NO CLUE what I was walking into when I picked this series up. The only thing I knew was that this book was about Jace Cross and Bethany Fawn. This book picks up right where the Merciless series ends which I loved. Though if you were reading this book first, it would still make sense. Bethany is on a mission to find out what happened to her sister and when things lead to Jace and his club things, just go downhill from there. I adored the relationship between Jace and Bethany. It is VERY sexy, steamy and intense. I love the back and forth between the two of them, as well as with themselves. To say how surprised I am by how much I LOVE this book would be impossible. Sometimes I feel like I am repeating myself when I say this but Willow Winters knows how to write characters that I fall in love with and she does it so effortlessly. How? Just HOW does she do that? I’ve noticed with Willow Winter’s books, I either have an idea of what’s going to happen or I have absolutely no clue where it’s going to go. This is one of the books where I have absolutely no clue where it could go. I kept thinking about all the different possibilities but nothing really seems to stick out to me and I haven’t really seen any solid clues of where we are heading. But that ending though. I know we are heading into something messy.

A Single Kiss:

We jump right back into the story like it’s the next chapter (well technically in this book, it is). From the start of this book I was on my toes just waiting for what was to come. Everything about this book is just perfect. The relationship between Jace and Bethany is so fiery hot and all the action that is going on just makes my heart race. Bethany is such a badass and I admire her courage and strength. Though like most Willow heroines, she is struggling with her feelings for Jace. She knows he is no good for her and yet so good for her at the same time. She was here to do one job, and that is find out what happened with her sister. With mixing herself up with Jace and Jace with Bethany, lines are getting crossed and things they’ve lied about can’t be taken back.I get so emotionally invested in Willow’s books. I just can’t help it, it happens every time. She just has a way of hooking you in and NEVER letting go.

“You may be tired, Bethany Ann Fawn, you may be sad and in a shit position, but you are still a badass. You are not going to take any shit. And those rules Jace left you, those rules that sexy mohterfucker thinks he can lay down while trapping you here, those rules can go fuck themselves”

A Single Touch:

A Single Touch is the conclusion of the Irresistible Attraction series and boy did it have me gripping my kindle as tight as I could. I honestly thought I was going to break it with how tight I was holding it. Everything that happened in this book was extra. The emotions, actions, drama, and intimacy. At times my heart was begging me to stop because I couldn’t take it at times. But it was SO good. The development of both Jace and Bethany throughout this series and in this final book was just phenomenal. To say I was invested in this story, is an understatement. I couldn’t read this book fast enough. I had to see how this was going to end. There are twists and turns that will keep you guessing the entire time. They’ve been through it all and I am so happy with this ending.

Overall I would highly recommend this series if you love Willow Winters, the Cross brothers and a really good delicious steamy romance.

King of Wall Street by Louise Bay

This is my first ever Louise Bay read! Boy, was I surprised. I honestly didn’t think I was going to love this book as much as I did. The main thing I loved about this book was how quickly I fell into the story and didn’t want to come back out until I had fished it. Everything about Harper and Max was enticing, engaging and had me rooting for them basically at the start of the book. They had such great chemistry with one another and no matter how badly they wanted to deny it, it was truly undeniable. This was so swoon worthy, steamy and a great office romance read. It had me on my toes waiting to see what would happen next. I am so glad that this book was in this collection. I love finding new to me authors and as I said before, this was my first read by Louise Bay and it definitely won’t be my last.

Overall, this was an interesting collection of books that they put together but I loved each story on it’s own. I can wait to see what more Top Shelf Romance has up their sleeves!
