Torn by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publication Date: July 19, 2016
Torn between duty and survival, nothing can be the same.
Everything Ivy Morgan thought she knew has been turned on its head. After being betrayed and then nearly killed by the Prince of the Fae, she’s left bruised and devastated—and with an earth-shattering secret that she must keep at all costs. And if the Order finds out her secret, they’ll kill her.
Then there’s Ren Owens, the sexy, tattooed Elite member of the Order who has been sharing Ivy’s bed and claiming her heart. Their chemistry is smoking hot, but Ivy knows that Ren has always valued his duty to the Order above all else—he could never touch her if he knew the truth. That is, if he let her live at all. Yet how can she live with herself if she lies to him?
But as the Fae Prince begins to close in, intent on permanently opening the gates to the Otherworld, Ivy is running out of options. If she doesn’t figure out who she can trust—and fast—it’s not only her heart that will be torn apart, but civilization itself.

Since this is a series this review will probably be shorter than other reviews because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. This book picks right back up where book one leaves off. I was absolutely torn, sorry I had to while reading this book. We pick up right where we left off in book one of this series. I don’t really want to go into too much detail because I don’t want to give anything away. Overall, I enjoyed this book as book number two in the series. I loved getting to know a little bit more about the Fae as well as the relationship between Ivy and Rem. Ivy really won me over in this one. She is such a strong and selfless person and I wish I had an ounce of her bravery. She is true to herself and will fight back to anyone doing harm to her or the ones she loves. Unbelievably stubborn and hardheaded she will do what she thinks is right no matter the consequences just to keep others safe. Ren is still unbelievably delicious and head over heels in love with Ivy. No matter what she does or who she is, he just can’t help himself when it comes to her. I somehow fell even more in love with Tink and his antics. His is so freaking funny and the things that come out of his mouth astound me. Anytime he said anything I was smiling or laughing. I honestly don’t know how Jennifer Armentrout does it. I am continually amazed by her writing and the stories that she comes up with.
Another solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐ star read!
