My August TBR

ARCs:

Beyond Beautiful by Heather MacKinnon – This is book two from the Love in Providence series, but can be read as a standalone. I had to push this back on my TBR because of other ARCs I requested and forgot that I requested last month 😅 So I plan to finish it this month!

Wicked Game by Michelle St. James – I am on Michelle St. Jame’s ARC review team and I have been so excited to read this book!

Alessio by Bethany-Kris – This is book two in the The Guzzi Legacy Series! I cannot wait to dive into this book as I’ve read book one

Jake’s Redemption by Jamie Schulz – I received this book from the author via her PR agent and I was trying to read this in July but I got caught up on other ARCs that I requested and forgot about. Don’t worry I am starting to get my ish together.

Things You Save In A Fire by Katherine Center – I got an eARC of this book via Netgalley and I am thrilled to have gotten a copy!

My Choice:

Brave by Jennifer L. Armentrout – Book three in the Wicked Trilogy and I just can’t get enough! Reviews to come soon of books one and two!

The Prince by Jennifer L. Armentrout – This is a 1001 Dark Nights novella that can be read as a standalone story from the Wicked Trilogy. If this is anything like the first three books I can’t wait to read!

Usedbook-A-Thon:

Usedbook-a-thon: This Book-A-Thon is being hosted by Jessica from Peacelovebooks and Kayla from literatureads_ ! They have come up with a 16 spot bingo board. Below are the 5 books I plan on reading. I didn’t want to pick too many books because I know myself and I know how many books I am able to read. I am excited to participate in my first ever book-a-thon!

Covet by J.R. Ward – Cover Change, first in series, Mass market and $2 or less

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer – First in series, damaged, romance, from favorite used book store and buddy read a book.

Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen – Set in another country, cover change, and 10 years or older.

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles – New to me author, $2 or less, and romance

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks – Water on cover, read by candlelight, cover change, and read after 8 pm.

Donate a book: I have a huge pile of books that I went through while I was looking for books for this challenge and will be giving it to Goodwill!

Bake a bookish snack: My favorite bookish snack is homemade Banana Bread Muffins that I love to make. It is the easiest recipe and I can make it without any dairy!
