Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday. The Top Ten Tuesday Meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This weeks prompt is Books That I Refuse to Let Leave my Bookshelf (submitted by Savannah Grace @ Scattered Scribblings). I don’t have a ton of books that I wouldn’t want anyone borrow (as you can see from my VERY short list).
- Lord of the Flies by William Golding – This book is one of my favorite books that I read in high school and it will always hold a special place in my heart. It helped me realize how much I enjoy and find Psychology interesting.
- There are to many to list, but anything that is signed by the author. I don’t care who you are I don’t trust you when it comes to a signed book. I sometimes don’t even trust myself.
- My original copy of Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling. I don’t even like to touch this book. I’m scared I might break it.
What books are you protective over?

Yes, it’s definitely a good idea to protect signed books.

Is your Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone a first edition? Most of my list consisted of signed books too 😂

Yeah, I don’t share my signed copies either.

I wouldn’t normally lend a signed copy either, though I have done it in the past and nothing terrible has happened (don’t want to push my luck though).
