What an absolute fantastic ending to this series and the most perfect story for Mabel! I have been anxiously waiting for Mabel’s story. From the beginning of the series, I found her so fascinating and I couldn’t wait to read her story and the wait was totally worth it. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed Mabel and Aurora‘s story. Seriously, I was sucked in from chapter one and if life didn’t get in the way, I would’ve read this in one sitting for sure. It was heartfelt, meaningful, and about finding and really loving yourself (which felt like something I needed to read right now), as well a emotional. This book truly exceeded all of my expectations that I had. I can go on and on and on about how much I love Brit Benson’s writing. It’s so easy to get into her stories and it always feels like coming home, especially after reading a lot of dark romances recently. This story wrapped everything up so nicely and it was good to see the rest of Hometown Heartless one last time!

This book is one I definitely can’t wait to listen to on audio!
