Guinevere and Raffa. Oh, how I love them.

I have been dying to read this book since the moment I finished book one and have thought about it more times than I could count on both of my hands. Both Guinevere and Raffa have happily lived in my mind rent free for all these months and truthfully? I don’t think they’ll be leaving anytime soon, which I’m not mad about.

Guinevere. My sweet, sweet Guinevere. She grew a lot in this book and she would do anything, not only for her man or her family, but also her chosen family. She’s not only strong mentally and physically but she also stands tall next to her man willing to fight alongside him no matter what. Raffa is EVERYTHING. He’s the embodiment of toe curling seduction, powerful, a fantastic dirty talker, and a big bad mafia man who also loves big. He’s the perfect morally grey hero I could ever ask for. A PERFECT book boyfriend.

This book was breathtaking and such an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end. No matter how many books I read by Giana Darling, and I’ve read all of her books, she always knows how to grip me not only with a beautifully crafted story but with the emotion I can feel she pours into them. As with book one, CJ Bloom and Dane Anderson did another fantastic job bringing these two to life. The only thing I wish was that this was in duet narration. Other than that, it was phenomenal, especially on audio. This duet is one that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to give Giana a try.

This is such a fantastic story and I’m so sad that it’s over!
