Welp. That broke my heart. Completely, utterly, soul suckingly broke my heart. This book has been such an anticipated read of mine for such a long time and it was well worth the wait but, boy oh boy, that hurt a hell of a lot. I have read every single book by this author and every single time, I am enthralled by her writing. 

I cannot express the amount of love that I have for Sebastian Lombardi. I want to keep him in a bubble and keep him safe at all costs. He quite literally carried this book and I had no issues with that whatsoever. Adam Meyers is just a force of passion with his work and those he loves. I wanted to hit him a few times but wow, this man. Oh, how I love thee! As for the lovely Savannah Meyers, I liked her but I don’t think I’ve ever also disliked a female main character at the same exact time. She’s unbelievably selfish and cold. There were moments throughout the book where we see little slivers of vulnerability and the girl she was. I hope in the next two books we see this come out more and learn about her past and who she truly is. 

These three balance each other out so well I can’t wait to read more of their story and see how much they grow in the second and third book. I need the next books immediately, if not sooner. This book will leave you feeling all the feelings. Passion, drama, spice, love, and heartbreak, but it’ll be well worth it.

I had the pleasure of listening to this book on audio and wow, Shane East, CCJ Mission & Desireé Ketchum did a fantastic job with this narration. Highly recommend listening to this, especially if you love audiobooks.
