I love, love, love A.L. Jacksons books so much! She so easily sucks me into the story, her writing is always top notch, and the characters, Gods, they’re always such a great group. This was one emotional and wild ride. Charleigh and River as individuals are great. Charleigh is sweet, brave, SO strong, and unbelievably kind. I just wanted to hug her the entire time. River, holy hot dads, I loved River. He’s fierce, willing to do anything for anyone, protective, and he loves the heck out of Charleigh and Nolan. Together Charleigh and River are such a great couple who have such intense chemistry. They’re a perfect match and from the second that they meet you can tell that they’re meant to be together. And Nolan? What a sweet, sweet kid. I loved every single interaction that we had with him!
I had the pleasure of listening to this on audio and it was great! Andi Arndt & Austin Stone were our narrators for this book. As always Andi Arndt was a pleasure to listen to and I’m pretty sure that I haven’t listened to anything else that Austin Stone has narrated, but he did a fantastic job. I thought they fit the character so well!
This is such a great start to her news series Moonlit Ridge. I can’t wait to read more about this tight knit group!
