Breaking News: Not only is this one of my favorite reads of 2024 but Cade Eaton, I’m sorry, I really LOVE you but daddy West has taken your spot as my favorite Elsie character.

Holy smokes, Batman! I loved this!!

Elsie, somehow, always surprises me. I shouldn’t be shocked every single time, but here we are. The book did a number on me. It had me laughing, crying, blushing, gasping, swooning. It gave me ALL the feels. West and Skylar are easily two of my favorite characters ever. They have such a magnetic dynamic and you can see from the very beginning why they belong together. Skyler is sweet, sassy, kind, caring and thoughtful. I literally love her. She wanted to take life into her own hands and she really went for it. As for West, or should I say daddy West, thank the Gods for Elsie writing such a delicious, thoughtful dirty talker in all the romance lands. The amount of unwavering support this man gives Skyler is heartwarming. The banter, the dirty talk, the sass. All of their interactions with each other was top notch. Not only did I love West and Skyler but West’s kids, Oliver and Emmy?? Stop, I’m crying. I adored these two and the relationship that they had with not only their dad, but with Skyler as well. So sweet and cute!

This is definitely one of those books that I will be listening to the audio of. From what I’ve been hearing it’s great and as an audiobook lover it’s a must for me. Again, this is a 2024 favorite and I already want to read it again.
