Talk about a great start to 2024! I don’t think I can explain to you how much I absolutely loved this book. First and foremost I am a huge cheating romance stan, so if you don’t like that then bye. I’ve been in the mood for one for the last month and this really just hit the fucking spot. Hawke aka Cameron (🥵💦) and Nicole have such a deliciously forbidden, sexy as hell and chemistry that will set you on fire. I love the dynamic they have with each other because though they don’t initially make sense, the more we learn about them the more they complement one another.
This was my first time ever reading this author. She’s been on my radar since last year and I’ve and I’m so glad I finally read her. I’ll definitely be reading the rest of her backlist and honestly anything else she writes. The narration for this book was absolutely impeccable. Joe Arden and Avery Caris did such a phenomenal job with this book. And even though it’s only told in one perspective, I love how all of the male parts were voiced by Joe, which I’ve never heard done in an audio before and I REALLY appreciated it. This was my first introduction, listening to Avery, and I absolutely loved her voice. I thought she fit perfectly for Nicole.
I can’t wait to, eventually, add this book to my collection. Because I ate this book up!
