The next generation in the EKC World are somehow more twisted, violent, and ruthless than their parents before them. I have been unbelievably excited for this series ever since it was announced. And in true Amo fashion, this didn’t disappoint, at all. Halen and War. My word. These two really know what hot toxic chemistry is. Because they really have it and then some. They honestly had me wrapped around their finger within the first few chapters. To think that I was gonna be somewhat prepared for this next generation is honestly laughable. Amo always knows how to give it all she’s got. Her books never fail to surprise me at every single turn. You would think that though I’ve read most of her work already that I would go into a new book of hers with no expectations. Yet here I am, once again, with my tail between my legs, thinking that I would have any remote idea of what she was going to bring to the table. 

I’m so excited to see where the rest of the books on the series go. I have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
