Oh A.L. Jackson, your words get me every single time. For the love of all things angsty and emotional, I ate up this book! 

Seriously, I really loved our main characters, Caleb and Paisley. They have such great chemistry with each other. The constant push and pull between was so much fun to watch unfold as the story progressed. I’ve said this many times but I love, love, love a man that’s a great dirty talker and Caleb did not disappoint. Not. One. Bit. They’re such a great match for each other and I especially LOVE the bond they both have with the sweetest little lady in that small town, Evelyn. Both Paisley and Caleb would LITERALLY do anything for that little girl and it’s just such a beautiful thing to read.

The audio for this book was amazing as well. Joe Arden and Andi Arnet, as always, do a phenomenal job bringing these two characters to life. Let me tell you there’s no one in the game like Joe Arden. Honestly his voice melts me like butter. 

Small town single parent romance seems to be my jam these days and I’m perfectly a-okay with that! I’m really excited for the rest of this series and can wait to read them once they come out!
