This book had me all up in my feels while reading. Any chance I had the opportunity to read this book, you would have seen me laughing and smiling, and you would’ve definitely caught me blushing a few times.
Cade and Willa are such a great couple. Their dynamic is so fun and fiery hot. I was absolutely obsessed with Willa from the very beginning. She’s spunky, sassy, carefree, and literally all the things I love in a main character. And Cade? Cade Eaton could literally do anything to me and I would thank him. I thought Rhett had a dirty mouth?!? Boy howdy, Cade surpasses him by miles. He’s grumpy, but no one loves their kid or is more responsible than him.
The audio of this book was absolutely amazing! Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin, who, I don’t think I’ve read any books they’ve narrated before, did an amazing job bringing these two characters to life. I don’t think anyone better could’ve narrated this book. They are Willa and Cade.
Apparently, this is the year not only for hockey Romances, but also cowboy Romances. I am here for all things Elsie Silver and I can’t wait to read her back list as well as the rest of the books in the series!
