I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this is the first time I’m actually reading Lauren Blakely. I swear I read her a long time ago but according to my goodreads I have not. Thankfully this year I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone and not only read books by new authors or authors who are new to me, but also read more non-dark romance books.
This book was great!! It’s a witty, fun, realistic read. Teddy and London have such great chemistry and fit really well together. Teddy is smart, funny and hot. You can tell he really loves his job but does when to branch out and on his own entertainment business. I really loved him! London is super sweet, smart and spunky! I really loved the relationship that she has with her friends, how much she enjoys her job and just seems like someone that is really relatable. It’s definitely easy to connect with these two and get into the story. I loved that the majority of the book is in Teddy‘s perspective which is pretty odd since the majority of romances are in the female perspective. I really enjoyed that about this book.
Overall, I loved it. It was very easy to get into and follow along. I would definitely love to listen to the audiobook for this book. For one I love Joe as a narrator, he’s absolutely amazing and two I was looking at some other reviews for people who listened to the audiobook version of this and they seem to really love it. Lauren and Joe did a great job, co writing this book. I hope they choose to do more projects together. This book is definitely a really good read and something I really needed!
