My new boss has it all. In spades.

Gorgeous green eyes? Check.

Hard-and-sexy body? Check.

Intelligence? Check.

Success? A big fat billionaire… Check.

Too bad I haven’t started out on the best foot.

My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He’s stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business.

With him running the development of the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and me doing the design, our work relationship is far too intimate for two people who absolutely despise one another.

But that’s not all.

See, he isn’t just my billionaire boss from hell. He’s my new neighbor, too.

Same city.

Same building.

Same floor.

Trent Turner is my billionaire boss next door.

Holy moly, let’s hope my career—and hormones—can survive.

This is my first ever read of Max Monroe. And I was really nervous at first. It was a tough start for me and it felt extremely slow at the beginning. About halfway through the book it picked up speed and was very enjoyable.

Greer is a strong willed, intelligent and hard working woman. She is so sarcastic (which I really enjoyed and is the only thing I truly liked about her) and very sassy. She will tell you where to go without a second thought. At times I thought she was annoying and childlike. Trent was very likeable, funny and great with comebacks. But not book boyfriend material for me personally, but I really enjoyed him as a whole. He seems to have a very rugged exterior and come off as an asshole but it was definitely is all a front. He is easygoing but very hard to please.

I loved reading how they went from enemies, to friends, to lovers. They have great chemistry and played off of each other very well. The writing style is interesting and overall I really enjoyed the book. It is fun and entertaining and a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 star read from me!

Thank you to Social Butterfly PR and Max Monroe for the ARC for an honest review!
