Being a humongous fan of Bobby Hall, also known as his stage name Logic, I absolutely had to read this book. I really didn’t know what to expect from Bobby as an author, but he is a fantastic creator and always puts out is phenomenal music.

Overall I really enjoyed the storyline, though I thought a lot of parts were predictable to me, I still enjoyed the read. The pace of the book starts out slow and then speeds up as we get to the middle of the book and I couldn’t stop reading. I had to finish it and see what was going to happen to the main character, Flynn. Speaking of Flynn, he was so likable. I wanted nothing more but Flynn to make out good in the end. I was rooting for him throughout the book. He is kind, caring and just needs to get out of his own head. I thought it was important that this book revolves around mental health. I can’t be more grateful that someone with his platform is talking openly about his struggles with mental health through Flynn. With the book revolving around the topic of mental health it made Flynn more relatable to me again making me want to root for him.

I cannot wait to see how his writing improves as he creates more stories. He is undeniably creative, comes up with some crazy shit and touches on subjects that most others run away from. Bobby did great job telling his story and I thought this was a great debut novel.

Overall I give this a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.
