For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn’t anything new. They’d been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler is a slut. . He’s never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn’t want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she’s perfect and she’s everything. But the feelings he has for her, he’s always hidden away or focused on any other woman. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they’re stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor’easter, there’s nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

I read this book in September of last year and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I liked it.

Kyler and Sydney have been best friends ever since they were kids and both are secretly in love with each other. After getting  trapped in a house at a ski-resort during a snowstorm, they are forced to spend time with each other and eventually they admit to their feelings toward each other.

This book hit me right in the feels. I was drawn in and enticed by their friends-to-lovers relationship. All the characters seemed really relatable which helped make the book very easy to read. I felt like a giddy child reading something they shouldn’t be throughout this entire book. I was in Sydney’s corner the entire time hope they she would be able to confess her love for Kyler. She was very nice, sweet and patient with Kyler. I felt bad for her sometimes because Kyler always had a new girl on his lap. She was way stronger than I would have been. The only thing that bugged me about her was that she seemed to jump conclusions often causing more issues than necessary. As for Kyler I found him so frustrating at times because of some decisions he made, but he is such a good guy when it comes to Sydney. He was very protective of her, which sometimes would turn into jealousy but he knows her better than anyone. He for sure knows how to make your heart melt for the way he treats Sydney.

Frigid is a fun, well written and steamy story. Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my FAVORITE authors. Her books are very easy to read and she makes characters relatable. I highly recommend this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star book!
