Let me be honest with you. I couldn’t finish this book. I tried and tried multiple times. I really didn’t want to give up. But I just couldn’t bring myself to finish something I truly wasn’t enjoying. Throughout the entire book I questioned why is it taking so long to explain things? It just felt like things were taking forever to get to point. Perhaps this author’s way of telling this story is better suited in another story or in another book. I had one of the most difficult times getting through a little bit less than half of the book.

This kind of story maybe just wasn’t for me. I would love to give this author another chance by reading another book by her. She writes beautifully. I flat out don’t think this is a book for me.

I truly don’t like giving negative reviews, but I want to be 100% honest on how I feel about the books I’m reading. Because I abandoned this book, but not it’s author, I am going to give this ⭐️⭐️.
