Talk With Me Tuesday ︱ a chatty post

The Bookworm Box

I have been meaning to post this blog for the longest time. I’m sorry I have such terrible time management skills.

Anyways… I wanted to share with you the experience I had with getting The Bookworm Box this past January. This was my first time getting any kind of subscription box before. I’ve always wanted to try one but I was always scared that I wasn’t gonna like anything that was in it and that it would be a total waste of money. When I found out more about the book blogging community and the book community in general I didn’t know that they had so many subscription boxes available for readers to get. Once I found out this information, I looked up every single possible book subscription box there is. When I found The Bookworm subscription box I thought that this was the best fit for me.

One of the main reasons that I chose this box specifically was because of the overall mission and idea of this subscription box. Created by Colleen Hoover, one of my favorite authors, The Bookworm Box aims to give readers an awesome experience with a box filled with tons of different things from many different authors as well as giving back to charities. All the profits, that are made with the subscription boxes, go directly to charities that are selected each month. I thought this was the best book subscription box for me because I don’t feel as guilty getting this every month. The reason for that is because I know the money is going to such a great cause that I feel great getting the subscription box not only because I get books out of it, but also because the money that I’m giving for the box goes to people who are in need.

There are three different types of boxes:

  1. The Romance Bookworm Box – There are two versions of this subscription box. The first box offered has one novel and the other box has two novels. Both boxes come with various goodies that change each month.
  2. The Young Adult Bookworm Box – This box comes with one autographed Young Adult book, one e-book and 4-6 come goodies that change each month.

Below are some pictures that I took of what came in my box this past January. I literally sat on my living room floor and had at least a 30 minute experience opening this box. It was an awesome experience for me since I never done anything like this before and it was my birthday, what a great present!

Post pictures here that I took of my box!

I honestly can’t wait for this months box to come in (for February) to see what goodies I get this month. I’m excited to share with you guys hopefully by the end of this month when I get in this months BookWorm box!

This months boxes are sold out, but if you would like to sign up to be added to the wait list, click HERE!

Have you ever gotten a subscription box? If so what box did you try and did you like it? Have you tried other subscription boxes?
